Palácio Garden combines a welcoming interior with a rear balcony leading to a large private garden, near Palácio de Cristal in Porto. The space The open-plan living area has a queen-size bed, a 90 × 200 cm sofa bed and a dining table for six. There is also a bedroom with a 140 × 190 cm double bed, an equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, television and a patio. The sofa bed is described as suitable for one person or two children; please confirm the sleeping arrangements for your booking. The apartment is on the 1st floor, with no lift. The historic building, dating from the first half of the 20th century, preserves features of Porto’s architecture, including tiles and a skylight. It is near Palácio de Cristal. The building is on one of Porto’s main streets, and outside noise may be audible, especially during the day. Please bear this in mind if you are particularly sensitive to noise. The kitchenette has a hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Tea towels, napkins, washing-up liquid, salt, pepper, sugar, tea, biscuits and instant coffee are provided. There is no coffee machine. The television is a smart TV with cable channels. Comfort and amenities Bed linen, towels, shower gel and toilet paper are included. The accommodation has free Wi-Fi, a hairdryer, an iron and an ironing board. There is no air conditioning. A heater and fans are provided, but the accommodation may not suit guests who are particularly sensitive to heat. On hotter days, keep the windows and shutters closed when you go out to help keep the interior cool. Netflix is not available. Exploring the area Restaurants, supermarkets, cafés and public transport are nearby. The nightlife area near Clérigos is around 950 metres away, a 12-minute walk. The access information lists bus 601 between the airport and the Palácio stop, around 150 metres from the accommodation; please check the route and timetable for your journey. Arrival and departure Check-in is after 15:00, and check-out must be completed by 11:00. Before arrival, you must complete the guest registration form with the identification details of every guest, using the link sent in your booking confirmation. Completing this form is mandatory for check-in. Early check-in and late check-out are not available, to allow enough time for cleaning. You can store your luggage free of charge at our city-centre office, Monday to Friday from 09:30 to 18:00, excluding public holidays. Please contact us for directions. At weekends and on public holidays, you can use luggage lockers, such as those at Trindade station. Useful information for your stay Cleaning during your stay is not included. Breakfast and other meals are not included. Cooking oil and olive oil are not provided. Hot water is supplied by a 80-litre cylinder, providing around 15 minutes of continuous use and taking approximately 30–40 minutes to reheat. We recommend leaving time between showers and avoiding prolonged use. Parking, whether on the street or in car parks, is the driver's responsibility. We can suggest paid or supervised car parks, but we do not control availability or accept responsibility for any incidents. House rules We want you to enjoy your stay while allowing our neighbours to rest. Please observe quiet hours between 23:00 and 07:00 and keep noise to a minimum during the day, including when arriving and leaving. Parties, pets and smoking indoors are not permitted. Do not throw cigarettes or rubbish out of the windows. Only people included in the booking may enter the accommodation. Any additional guests must be declared and approved during the booking process, within the maximum occupancy and subject to the applicable rates. Guests are responsible for the safety of any children accompanying them and for respecting the neighbours. Please look after the space: dispose of rubbish in the public bins and do not leave any waste in the apartment or communal areas. Switch off the lights and any appliances provided, including heating and air conditioning where fitted, whenever they are not needed and when leaving. Before you leave, close the doors and windows. Do not leave the keys in the lock on the inside of the door. Report any damage as soon as you notice it. If it is not reported, it will be assumed to have occurred during your stay and you will be charged for it. Charges and consequences under the house rules - Unregistered extra guests: 100 EUR per person per day, in addition to the extra guest rate. - Parties: a penalty of 300 EUR, which may increase depending on the condition in which the accommodation is left. - Smoking indoors: a penalty of 50 EUR, plus any costs for damage or additional cleaning. - Pets: a penalty of 100 EUR, plus any costs for damage or additional cleaning. - Lost keys: 30 EUR. - Extra cleaning if the accommodation is left in an unacceptable condition: 20 EUR per additional hour. - A locksmith required because keys have been left in the lock on the inside of the door: around 150 EUR, depending on the time of the call-out. Excessive noise or failure to follow the rules may result in the immediate termination of your stay and a requirement to leave the accommodation, without a refund of the amount paid for the booking.
